Jeff Cook, CRNP, brings more than two decades of dedicated cardiovascular nursing experience to Southeast Cardiology Clinic. A lifelong resident of the Wiregrass Area, Jeff has served patients at Southeast Cardiology since 2001, where he has played a vital role in assisting cardiologists with hospital rounds, obtaining detailed patient histories, assessing cardiac conditions, and managing cardiac emergencies with skill and compassion.
Jeff earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Troy University, where he specialized as a Family Nurse Practitioner, following a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama’s Capstone College of Nursing. His strong clinical foundation began with an Associate of Science in Nursing from Wallace College.
Prior to joining Southeast Cardiology, Jeff gained extensive acute care and leadership experience as a Clinical Nurse Manager at Southeast Alabama Medical Center and as a Staff Nurse at Flowers Hospital, where he worked in emergency and intensive care settings.
He is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and holds Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Jeff is also an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Wiregrass Nurse Practitioner Association, and has been recognized by Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing for his excellence in clinical practice and patient care.
